Our Wedding

We initially were going to elope, but then decided to celebrate this special day with family and close friends. So we planned a mini destination wedding at the Joshua Tree National Park in California on July 14, 2021. We wanted to create a memorable experience and a moment that represented our essence.

Our Story

We found each other when we weren’t seeking. Through divine intervention and an indirect introduction from a mutual friend, we stumbled upon each other’s paths. We discovered we had mutual interests and love for art, music, culture, Jesus, community, and a desire for healthy spiritual and emotional growth. Through our mutual interests, individual evolution, intention, and three years of kinship, our love, and care for one another deepened, resulting in our engagement in December 2020. Fast forward to the present as we prepare for our future, we are excited to celebrate the next chapter in our book. So it begins...

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.

If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
